The newly entitled Lloyds Bank National Business Awards, which take place in November at the Grosvenor House Hotel London, has also just extended its entry deadline to 5th June 2015, giving companies an extra two weeks to submit their entries.
The Awards, now in their 14th year, recognise excellence across the public, private and third sectors – from entrepreneurs, SMEs and social enterprises to the FTSE 100, mid market and large private firms and boasts strong support from business leaders, government figureheads, media and corporate partners.
Lloyds Bank will sponsor the awards for New Business of the Year, Small to Medium Business of the Year, Digital Business of the Year and the Decade of Excellence which was won last year by Justin King CBE, CEO of Sainsbury PLC. Lloyds Bank will support finalists and winners of their categories with a programme of business mentoring.
Tim Hinton, Managing Director, Mid Markets and SME Banking, Lloyds Banking Group said: “We are proud to be the headline sponsors of the National Business Awards as part of our support for British enterprise. These awards recognise a huge array of talent and the vital role that companies and businesses play in providing growth in our economy.
“We’re pleased to announce that we will be providing business mentoring to finalists and winners – giving them that important sounding board to help their business progress to the next stage in their journeys. There is not long to go until the deadline closes so I urge all businesses to apply as soon as possible.”
