With over twenty-five years of experience in the financial sector, Craig Fuller has had a successful career as a branch manager, and has been recognized for his expertise and unwavering leadership qualities.
After being honorably discharged from the army, Craig attended Florida Atlantic University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Following graduation, he pursued an opportunity as a bank teller eventually making his way up to Branch Manager.
The onset of the global pandemic inspired Craig to help local businesses in need. Recognizing dwindling supplies and resources, Craig founded RESCUE ME, LLC – company that finds and delivers hard-to-find materials directly to construction work sites. With continuous shortages, Craig and his team are helping businesses maintain daily operations.
What products or services do you provide?
RESCUE ME, LLC is a company that locates hard-to-find materials and delivers them to construction sites. With the onset of the global pandemic many businesses were forced to adapt, whether that meant changing their service offerings or completely overhauling their operations. I saw many small businesses struggle, so I wanted to play an active role and do what I could to help. Now, along with my team of professionals, we have the knowledge and resources to provide businesses with the materials they need to survive.
How did you enter the business landscape?
After serving in the army, I attended college and I earned an associate’s degree in business administration. I then went on to earn my bachelor’s from Florida Atlantic University, where I remained for an additional two years. I spent over twenty-five years in the financial sector, before trying my hand at the business landscape. Interestingly enough I did not have a particular interest in construction, but I saw an opportunity and I am thankful that I took it.
What makes your company stand out?
Our primary goal is not financial gain, but rather helping local businesses thrive. Due to global shortages, there are plenty of materials that are extremely hard to come by. Sometimes they can be a challenge to locate, but we have to do our best in order to provide these resources to our customers.
What are your values?
Honesty and respect. I think communication is vital when it comes to running a business, especially when talking to clients. They want to know that they can trust you to deliver optimal results. If there is ever an issue, I always make sure that I communicate it with the customer. I think that honesty and respect go hand in hand. I treat my customers with the utmost respect, as they are the reason I got into this business to begin with.
What do you like most about your job?
I am fairly new to entrepreneurship so everything is essentially a learning opportunity to me. After spending decades in the financial industry, I needed to refocus my goals and priorities. While my role at the bank helped prepare me for some of the financial aspects that come with this job, I am still learning the ropes when it comes to daily operational challenges. However, in saying this, I am excited by everything that I am learning every day I am on the job.
How can businesses maximize client satisfaction?
I always tell my colleagues to go the extra mile. People are far more likely to use your services again if they saw that you cared enough to go out of your way for them. Oftentimes, it can be very difficult for us to locate certain types of materials, for example wood and paint are in very short supply currently. However, we do what we can to make sure that the materials are located and then delivered on time.
What do you do for fun in your spare time?
I consider myself a family-man, so when I am not looking to improve my business, then I am at home spending time with my family. I also volunteer because I think it is so important to give back when you can. I am super fortunate to be in the position that I am in, so I always want to do what I can for others.
Any thoughts on the future of your company and your dreams?
We assumed operations at the start of the pandemic, so we are still very new to the business landscape. Being a new entrepreneur I am definitely going to take my time in terms of expanding. However, I would like to continue helping out my community. I am really looking forward to what the year 2022 brings.
