As well as the one-to-one session with Karren, and the opportunity to discuss their business challenges, plans for growth, strategy and any other key topics vital to their success; the winner will receive a host of other prizes for their company.
These include 50,000 Nectar points, over £200 of Viking office equipment, £200 of Dulux Decorating Centres vouchers and courtesy of DHL, a year’s membership to the Institute of Export, which provides access to expert knowledge of international trade.
The Nectar Business ‘Business Makeover’ competition is open to all businesses until 30th September 2011 and to be in with a chance of winning, entrants must submit their top tip for someone starting a small business.
The winner will be selected by the Nectar Business panel of business experts. Five runners up will also receive 20,000 Nectar points.
The competition has been launched to celebrate the online publication of the Nectar Business ‘Guide to Start-up Success’.
The practical, step-by-step guide has been compiled in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses and Karren Brady, to offer fledgling businesses help and advice on their first year in business.
James Frost, Marketing Director at Nectar says: “Every business needs a helping hand now and then and especially when they are starting out. The ‘Business Makeover’ competition is a unique opportunity for one lucky company to receive advice from a business leader with as much knowledge and experience as Karren Brady. Karren is a fantastic role model in business and shows what can be achieved with a keen business mind and determination, so who better to give their advice to our eventual winner.”
Karren Brady said: “Small businesses in this country are vital to boosting industry and strengthening our economy. It’s important that Start-up businesses can get the information and support they need from day one, which is why I am delighted to be involved in this initiative.”
